It is a long story, but I lost my phone in the ocean on Fourth of July. All of my photos from the last six months are GONE along with my writing, contacts, calendar/planning and a slew of other things. Between that and just feeling like an overall clown for my mistake, I haven’t felt inspired. Or worthy of happiness to be completely blunt. ⁣
⁣
My entire life has been spent learning things the absolute hardest way possible. I could fill a book with mistakes that I have made that could have been easily avoided if I followed my gut or used a bit more caution. I didn’t back up my phone on iCloud because I was too cheap to pay for it, and I thought I would be fine. That I was the exception. Jokes on me. ⁣

I have lived in California my entire life so I guess it is only fitting that a piece of me will always rest in the Pacific Ocean. I poured my heart and soul into so much writing that is now claimed by the sea. Slightly poetic, huh? ⁣

Out with the old, in the with new. A fresh start that I never asked for, but the universe I shoved my way. ⁣

You’ll be happy to know that I no longer live on the wild side, and my new phone gets backed up daily! ⁣

The Loki series is now here, and I could cry. Ever since I saw @twhiddleston portrayal of him in the first Thor, I have been infatuated (my tabby cat is even named Loki). There was something almost familiar and comforting about him, like I found a long lost friend. I’m excited to see where the series takes us, and even more hopeful to see the sun shine again on our favorite Norse god brothers. ✨⁣
