Shopping My Mom’s Closet

Since many thrift stores are still closed or have limited capacity, I thought it would be fun to browse my mom’s closet! We used FaceTime to safely “shop”, and I picked two clothing items and a few accessories.

If this post gets enough love and comments, I might be able to convince her to shop MY closet. 😉

The first thing I chose was a simple, black, short sleeved pullover, and I paired it with her teardrop flower earrings. I unbuttoned the top to create a younger, off-the-shoulder feel, and it breathed new life into it. If I do say so myself. 😛 I added my own daisy tank top, jean shorts and high heels.

The next outfit includes my mom’s loose, little black dress, her dangling pearl earrings and pearl necklace. I added a belt to create dimension, and chose chunky snake skin (IT’S FAKE!) sandals to complete the look.
