Happy Thursday! Before I tell you about my most recent find, I wanted to acknowledge the elephant in the room. Yes, I dyed my hair. Yes, I did it at home. Yes, it’s RED, obnoxious, hard to miss, and yes, I am obsessed with it. If you would like me to dedicate a post talking about the process and color that I used, please leave a comment letting me know!
For this week’s Thrifty Thursday, I wanted to share a pair of Fergie Neptune Boots that I found for only $8 at a thrift store called Hope of the Valley . What I love so much about this thrift store is they actively take care of the homeless close to my hometown. They supply 200,000+ hot meals, and 60,000+ nights in shelters every year. I plan on trying to thrift shop there more because I love knowing that my money is helping someone in need… instead of going into the pocket of a greedy cooperation.
I paired the boots with dark, skinny jeans and a grey, oversized sweater. The weather in SoCal has been so unpredictable, and I never know how to dress. I love wearing thinner, short sleeved shirts under my chunky sweaters so I can be ready for anything. I feel like these boots are very unique and unlike anything else that I own. I’m excited to mix and match them with other outfits.
I hope you all have a fun and safe weekend! ♡
All my love,
I absolutely love your hair and the boots girl! And I love thrift stores like that that truly give back. There are t many good ones where I live unfortunately.
Thank you so much!! Yeah, they can be tricky to find. There’s only a couple close to where I live. 🙁
